Software & Platform Engineering

SoftBit

SoftBit is where FrozenBit's software gets made. It designs, builds, ships and then keeps running every digital product the group puts its name on — four of them in market today, across four different industries.

One team, four industries

Church administration, digital signage, competitive gaming and marketplace commerce are not obviously related businesses. Building all four out of one engineering team is deliberate: the hard parts — identity, payments, offline behaviour, sync, moderation — are the same problems wearing different clothes, and solving them once properly makes every product after it cheaper and better.

Offline-first where it matters

A church in a compound with intermittent internet, a signage player on a shop wall, a seller listing stock from a phone on a weak connection — none of them can assume a network. Products that need to work offline are built to work offline genuinely, storing locally and reconciling when a connection returns, rather than showing a spinner and calling it degraded mode.

We operate what we build

SoftBit does not hand a product over and walk away. The team that builds a platform runs it: deploys it, watches it, fixes it and answers for it. That is why the engineering standard is not a document — it is the thing the same people have to live with at 2am.
