Two changes went live on GamersArc this week, and both are about the same thing: making sure the money ends up with whoever actually won. ## Team wagers Competition is no longer limited to one-on-one challenges. Teams can now play for pooled wagers that supporters contribute to, with settlement distributed across everyone who backed the winning side. The pot is held in escrow from the moment the challenge is accepted, exactly as it is for a duel. ## Results have to survive their own evidence Submitted results are now checked against the screenshots uploaded with them. Where a claim and its evidence disagree — or where two players submit results that cannot both be true — the match freezes and goes to a human moderator instead of quietly paying somebody. Moderators work to a written rulebook, are scoped to the games they know, and are kept off any case where they have an interest in the outcome. ## Why this is the product Players do not stay on a platform because the interface is pretty. They stay because when they win they get paid, and when they are cheated somebody does something about it. GamersArc is operated by FrozenBit eSports and built by SoftBit. Real-money play is restricted to users aged 18 and over.
